MARSHALL COUNTY -- Camden McLeod's career low was the anchor for the Marshall golf team Monday as it took another under 300 finish for the 2019 season.

The team competed in Bowling Green Monday to kick off a tough week of golf.

"A huge step was taken with our golf team" said Coach Bell. "Shooting under 300 at Bowling Green Country Club was a great accomplishment."

McLeod shot an impressive 71 to lead the team. He finished fifth, leading the team to a third-place overall finish with 299, nine shots off the first-place finisher St. Xavier. Jay Nimmo and Tyler Powell battled the course, both finishing with 74. Trey Wall ended with 80, and Preston Futrell shot 89, taking on this course for the first time.
