Members of the Marshall County Cross Country team competed at the KSHAA state meet in Lexington last weekend and finished in 7th place overall. The Marshall County boys cross country team headed to the 2019 KHSAA state meet last Saturday and finished seventh overall out of 38 teams from across the state. 299 runners took the line Saturday afternoon with the Marshall team coming in the top third. Mason Cosner led the MCHS team crossing the line in 32nd place. Christian Cosner finished 15 runners behind him in 47th place. Ethan McCarty took 63rd, Cade Flatt crossed at 77th, and Jackson Miller took 79th. Marshall County's sixth runner Knox Sandlin finished at 101.
