Five members of the Lady Marshal Soccer team received All-District nods last week.

Senior Sofia Bayer spent her final district tournament as a Lady Marshal a strong presence on the field. Bayer was named to the 2019 all-district team.

Carmen Gunn closed her regular senior season with 20 games and both district tournament games as a Lady Marshal. She was named to the 2019 all-district team following Marshall's championship win over Calloway County. She had 34 regular season goals with one in the district tournament and a total six assists.

Senior Loralei Samson was named to the 2019 all-district team. She finished her last season as a Lady Marshal with 16 regular season games. Samson earned three goals for the Marshals this season.

Whitley Watwood played 20 regular season games and both district tournament games as a junior for the Lady Marshals. She scored twice during the season, as well as the lone goal against Murray in the semi-finals of the district tournament. Watwood was credited with four assists for the season. She was named to the 2019 all-district team.

Carlen Whirley was named to the 2019 all-district team. Whirley has had an impressive senior season playing a total 21 games, taking 15 shutouts, a new school record. She is credited with 87 saves.
