DRAFFENVILLE -- The Christian Fellowship Eagles are starting their 2019-2020 basketball schedule on the road.

The Eagles are headed to Dawson Springs tonight to face the Panthers. Both the girls and boys teams are going for the double-header matchup. The Lady Eagles kicked off their season at home last year with a loss to the Lady Panthers.

Friday, December 6, both CFS teams will face Fulton County. The Eagles ended on the losing side of a disappointing game with the Pilots last year. The Eagles loss two seniors to the Pilots' four for the 2019-2020 season.

The Lady Eagles' final score was also a loss for the CFS last year. The Lady Pilots have a young team this season, and the Lady Eagles will be playing with a team that has had several seasons to work together. The matchup Friday night could be more competitive than their previous meeting.

NEXT WEEK: Next Tuesday, December 10, CFS will travel to play the Bombers in Ballard County. Christian Fellowship took close losses in both games with the Bombers last year and look to be evenly matched this season, promising good games for family and friends.

Friday, December 13, CFS will host Agape Christian, Energy, Ill., before heading to Fort Campbell the following day for a Saturday afternoon game.
