HICKMAN -- The Lady Marshals added their 16th win of the season in a matchup with Hickman County's Lady Falcons last Monday. Cayson Conner has grown into quite the team leader this season, and it was not more obvious than on the court at Hickman County. The Lady Marshals went nine players deep on the bench, and Conner kept the momentum going, earning 30 points on her own.

The Lady Marshals made their first trip to Hickman County since 2005 and left their mark with a 17 point lead at the half. Conner and Jada Driver made up 26 of the team's 27 points after two quarters. Hickman County's Leigh Ann Jones added 11 points to begin to close the 11-point gap left at the first buzzer, but Driver followed that with 11 points of her own.

Conner closed the first half with a final bucket and 37-20 score at halftime.

The Lady Marshals had nearly double the Lady Falcons's score by the third buzzer. Conner had landed three three-point shots, as well as a three-point shot by Mia Teague. Conner also added an additional seven points, Layne Pea and Presley Jezik both added points from the free throw line for a 61-32 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

The Lady Marshals sealed with win over the Lady Falcons with two more three-point shots in the fourth, one by Jezik to start the quarter and one by Pea round the team's three-point shots to 11, and a solid 33-point win.
