Christian Fellowship fell in the championships of the All “A” First Region volleyball tournament Saturday, 2-0, to champion Ballard Memorial.

The Lady Eagles fell by 25-18 and 25-15 scores.

They had earlier defeated Carlisle County 2-0 (25-13, 25-17) in the tournament.

The Christian Fellowship Lady Eagles played in the wRECk @ the Plex Volleyball tournament last Friday and Saturday at Hopkinsville.

In pool play on Friday, the Lady Eagles played Trigg County and Caldwell County for 2-0 wins. Saturday, CFS played Heritage Christian Academy with a 2-1 loss (24-26, 25-22, 7-15).

Later, the Lady Eagles faced Christian Community School from White House, Tennessee and won 2-1 (13-25, 25-23, 15-12).

That set up Christian Fellowship to face Marshall County in the championship game. Just Thursday the Lady Marshals beat CFS, 3-1. Saturday, CFS won 2-1 with Marshall taking the first set, 25-17, with the Lady Eagles taking the final two, 25-23 and 15-11.

What’s Next: The Lady Eagles (8-7) head to Fourth District rival Calloway County Thursday before traveling to Frankfort this weekend to play in the Kentucky Christian Athletic Conference tournament. They will then host Marshall County next Tuesday.
