MURRAY 77, CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP 34
The Eagles of Christian Fellowship traveled to Murray High School to take on the Tigers in a rematch after their 101-61 loss during the All “A” Classic. Unfortunately, this matchup had a similar result, seeing the Eagles fall 77-34. Due to Murray’s competitive defense, the Eagles took more outside shots instead of driving into the paint for an easier basket, and it cost them, shooting 38% from beyond the arc. Though the Eagles fought hard at every turn, they took the loss and dropped 4-11.
Freshman Elijah Grigg led the Eagles in scoring with 16, followed by sophomore Dawson Hicks with six points and freshman Daxton Kite with five points.
Grigg 16, Dawson Hicks 6, Daxton Kite 5, Preston Nesshoefer 3, Jakin Burnett 2, Brady Fletcher 2. Field goals: 13/25. Three-pointers: 8/21 (Grigg 4, Hicks 2, Nesshoefer, Kite). Free throws: 0/0. Rebounds: 15. Record: 4-11.

Over the weekend, CFS traveled to Crittenden County to take on the Rockets in a hard fought battle that ultimately saw the Eagles coming up short, finishing the game in a 10-point deficit.
During the course of the game the Eagles chose to drive in and take more high percentage shots, which translated well as they shot an impressive 52%. The Rockets, however, were also able to get many high percentage shots in the paint, shooting at a similar 54%. Ultimately, the game came down to free throws, the Rockets scoring eight more points than the Eagles during their time at the line.

MARSHALL COUNTY 79, CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP 49
The Eagles hosted their cross-road rivals on Tuesday night, playing the Marshall County Marshals and taking a 79-49 loss, falling in district standings 0-4.
A strong start, Dunning came out of the gate with a 3-pointer, just 1/4 of his 3-pointers for the night. The Eagles were playing hard, hustling down the court and working to make their shots, but the defensive pressure by Marshall kept them to eight points to end the first quarter, and they trailed 23-8.
Outscoring the Marshals in the second quarter 15-13, the Eagles were resilient and on fire. Fletcher led the charge on defense, keeping the Marshals at bay, while pulling down rebounds and putting them back into the hands of the Eagles to score.
The Marshals came out shooting in the second half, and the Eagles quickly fell further behind, trailing with a 33-point deficit entering the fourth quarter. Despite an 18-point final quarter for the Eagles and making aggressive moves on the court, the Marshals took the victory, leading by 30-points to win.
