Ruth (Hall) Davis, 92 of Calvert City, passed away Monday, March 1, 2021, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
Born Tuesday, July 8, 1928, in Gilbertsville, she was a Mother, Wife and Homemaker. Mrs. Davis was a member of the Marshall County Homemakers and a member of the Calvert City Church of Christ.
Surviving are her children, Glenn E. Davis, wife Robin of Gilbertsville; daughter, Dana Abee of Clarksville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Andrea Howe, husband Dave of Murray, Adam Davis, wife Laura of Benton, Hayley Deason, husband David of Clarksville, Tennessee, Nathan Abee, wife Elizabeth of Clarksville, Tennessee; great- grandchildren, Josh Howe, Wes Howe, Cannon Davis, Nash Abee and Hayden Deason.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezra M. Hall and Bessie (Smith) Hall; her husband of 56 years, J.C. Davis; seven brothers, Marlon Hall, Franklin Hall, M. Lynn Hall, C.M. Hall, Garland Hall, Wayne O. Hall, Mark E. Hall; two sisters, Mary Louise Choate and Ivanel Dobesh.
Graveside funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Calvert City Cemetery. Lance Cordle and Craig Evans officiated.
Collier Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Western Kentucky Youth Camp, 301 Youth Camp Road, Marion, KY 42064.
