Arcadia Communities, an operator of senior living communities headquartered in Louisville, recently announced that it has acquired Stilley House Assisted Living in Benton.

The company plans to operate the 73-unit retirement community under the same name with some new plans on the horizon. The community was developed by brothers Theo and J.D. Gammel and has provided services to the seniors of Benton for many years.

“We are very excited to add Stilley House to the Arcadia family. The Gammel family and their team have done an amazing job providing care and compassion to those who call Stilley House their home. From our first visit we fell in love with its charm and warmth. They have created a warm and caring environment and the city of Benton is such a wonderful community for retirees to call home,” said Brian Durbin, president of Arcadia Communities.

“We are also very pleased that Allen Jones and his team will remain in place and look forward to providing them the support and resources they need to continue to enhance the lives of our residents. We have some exciting ideas for Stilley House and really look forward to continuing to build upon the success they have achieved thus far.”

Durbin continued. “Our goal is to offer our residents a beautiful place to call home, but more importantly provide outstanding care, quality dining services and a diverse schedule of activities that support an active and independent lifestyle. Arcadia strives to operate our communities with honesty, integrity and compassion and look forward to putting our years of experience to work for the benefit of our residents.”

Arcadia Communities currently operates independent and assisted living Communities in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
