Local officials sworn into office
Members of the Benton City Council were sworn into office Monday night following the monthly council meeting. From left, Laura Craynon, Guy Henton, Ann Riley, Mayor Rita Dotson, Rita Murray and Butch Holland take the oath of office from Dennis Foust. Kevin Farley was out sick and will be sworn in at a later date.

Surrounded by a room of family, friends and supporters, Kevin Spraggs was officially sworn in as Marshall County’s newest judge/executive Tuesday night. See next week’s Tribune-Courier for more photos of local officials taking their oaths of office.
