Parents and guardians looking to make their virtual-learning student more comfortable and productive can still pick up a desk from ‘Marshall County Desks’.
Jim and Gloria Hollifield, a Marshall County couple, build the wooden desks for virtual learners. So far, they’ve delivered nearly 300 desks.
They say they have even more they need to find homes for. Desks are available for students in Marshall, McCracken, Graves and Livingston counties.
As long as they have the funding, they will continue to build the desks in batches of 24. Donations can be made at any CFSB banking center.
To pick up a desk or donate through PayPal, contact the Hollifields through Facebook by searching Marshall County Desks.
