The annual Real Men Wear Pink of Paducah campaign begins on Oct. 1. The month is dedicated to bring continued awareness and raise funds in support of the American Cancer Society’s (ACS) mission to save more lives than ever before from breast cancer, and a distinguished group of community leaders are determined to carry on this fight.
CFSB Consumer/Small Business Lender Will Cox is one of the Real Men Wear Pink of Paducah candidates for 2020. Every dollar raised helps the ACS save lives from breast cancer through early detection and prevention, innovative breast cancer research and patient support. The ACS thanks the passion of the Real Men Wear Pink supporters, as the organization is able to make an impact on the mission to end breast cancer.
“Breast cancer affects everyone. It doesn’t matter if you’re a man or a woman. That’s why I’m stepping up to fight breast cancer with all I have,” Cox said. “Since I’m in a position to make a difference within my community, I believe I have an obligation to do so. By raising money and awareness through Real Men Wear Pink, my supporters and I are helping to save more lives from breast cancer. You will see me throughout the month of October wearing pink to signify we are fighting for a cure to this disease.”
The ACS provides free information and services when and where people need it. The ACS funds groundbreaking breast cancer research and is working to ensure access to mammograms for women who need them.
