A bowling group for seniors meets each Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Corvette Lanes in Murray. The cost is $10 for three games and is open to senior citizens. For more information, contact Nancy Rubin at 270-474-8366.

Oct. 4

American Legion Post 236 of Calvert City will be holding their annual Turkey Shoots. The event will be held each Friday night beginning at 6 p.m. Oct. 4 through Feb. 28.

Oct. 5

Maple Spring United Methodist Church will host a country ham breakfast from 6:30-9 a.m. The menu will include country ham, sausage, eggs cooked to order, pancakes, home-made biscuits, gravy, orange juice and coffee. Donations accepted for The Marshall County Exceptional Center. The church is located at 9643 U.S. Hwy. 68 East.

Oct. 7

The Marshall County Republican Women will meet at 11:30 a.m. in Republican Headquarters on the Benton Court Square. Attendees are asked to bring a brown bag lunch to enjoy while finalizing work on the auction.

Oct. 12

The North Marshall High School Class of 1974 will hold it's 45th anniversary reunion at Mike Miller Park in Draffenville. Social hour begins at 4 p.m., with a meal beginning at 5 p.m. The cost is $10 per person. Reservations may be made by calling 270-217-6052 or emailing nmhs74jets@yahoo.com.

Oct. 13

Bradley Walker will be in concert at 10:30 a.m. at Walnut Street Baptist Church. Walker is the recipient of a Dove Award for Blugrass/Country/Roots Album of the Year. A love offering will be taken following the concert.

A Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre presented by the Badgett Playhouse will be presented at Marcella's Kitchen, 868 Guy Mathis Drive. Dinner and the show will begin at 7 p.,m.
