Mr. Bobby Gene Story, 62, of Smithland died on Sunday, August 3 at Vanderbilt Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee. He was a member of Pipefitters Local 184 and worked for Ashland Chemical in Calvert City. He was born Saturday, February 2, 1952 and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Marion.

Mr. Story is survived by his wife of 36 years Linda Gail (Edwards) Story; one son, James Russell Story of Marion; three daughters, Lisa Jean Gray of San Clemente, California, Ginger Ann Goff of Mayfield and Bobbie Lee Smith of Smithland; three brothers, Wayne Story of Princeton, Jack Story of Calvert City and Edwin Story of Fredonia; 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Mr. Story was preceded in death by one brother Joe Story and by one sister Sharon Story. His parents were the late Howard Wilson and Ann Jean (Cox) Story.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday August 6 at 3 p.m. at the chapel of Collier Funeral Home, Benton. Interment followed at Marshall County Memory Gardens.
