Emma Lou Rose, 93, of Benton went to be with the Lord at 12:30 a.m. Sunday, August 3 at Baptist Health of Paducah.

She was a member of Elva Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Cindy Rose of Benton and Janice Higgins of Bardwell; one grandson, Kent Higgins of Plover, Wisconsin and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Floyd Rose; one daughter, Nancy Jane Rose; one grandson, Matthew Todd Higgins; two sisters, Ernestine Copeland and Dorothy Sellars and three brothers, John Henry Creason, Herman Creason and Robert Louis Creason. Her parents were John Wesley Creason and Ida Mae Burnett Creason.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 5 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Littrell and Rev. Joel Frizzell will officiate. Burial will follow in the York Cemetery.
