Mrs. Alvene Tynes, 95 of Mayfield passed away Sunday, June 15 at Mills Manor Nursing Home in Mayfield. She was retired from Andover Clothing Coat Shop in Mayfield. She was a member of Elva Baptist Church.

She was born Saturday, October 5, 1918 in Marshall County. She was the daughter of the late Cliff Riley and the late Jane (Powell) Riley.

She is survived by her son, Terry Riley, wife Nat of Symsonia, her daughter, Bonita McManus, husband Ronnie of Mayfield; three grandchildren, Terry Lynn Riley, wife Tina of Raleigh, North Carolina, Keith Riley of Paducah, Anthony McManus, wife Karen of Mayfield; four great grandchildren, Tyson Riley, wife Meggan of Charlotte, North Carlonia, Morgan Riley and Stephen of Paducah, Blake and Jordyn McManus, Mayfield; and great great grandchildren, Aubree Riley, Paducah, and Graysen Riley, Charlotte, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 56 years, Elvin Elwood Tynes, and one brother, Gene Riley.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 18 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home in Benton. Rev. Mike Littrell and Rev. Kenneth Ballinger officiated.

Interment followed in New Sand Hill Cemetery in Graves County.
