David was a Certified Public Accountant in private practice. He received his accounting degree from Georgia State University and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife Sharon Noles Dix of Almo; three daughters, Katherine Dix of Nashville, Tennessee, Lana Hutchinson and her husband Jeff of New Orleans, Lousiana and Lisa Nadreau and her husband Eric of Newnan, Georgia; his parents, Glenn Dix and Joyce Thornton Dix of Tampa, Florida; four brothers, Dr. James Dix and his wife Esther of San Antonio, Texas, Daniel Dix of Greensboro, Georgia, Glenn Dix and his wife Mary of Maple Falls, Washington and Don Dix of Rome, Georgia; one sister, Jeanne Barnes of Tampa, Florida; and seven grandchildren, Sarah Kate Esquivel, Joshua Esquivel, Andrew Esquivel, Perry Nadreau, Elliot Nadreau, Stella Nadreau, and Luke Hutchinson.
David was preceded in death by one brother, John Dix.
A Celebration of Life memorial service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 22 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home & Crematory. Bob Warren officiated.
