Marshall County multi-sport athlete Toni Fehrenbacher has been named Kentucky’s Forcht Bank/KHSAA CLASS Awards winner.
Fehrenbacher has participated in soccer, basketball and softball throughout her high school career.
The award includes a $3,000 scholarship.
The boys winner was Paul Miller, who played soccer, basketball and baseball at Martha Layne Collins High School in Shelbyville.
The CLASS Program emphasizes citizenship, leadership, athletics, sportsmanship and scholarship.
The program is in its 18th season.
Each school nominates a boy and girl and each of the 16 regions chooses a winner.
Fehrenbacher was nominated as the winner from Region 1.
To be eligible, student-athletes must have a grade point average of at least 2.5.
Verification of no game disqualifications for unsporsmanlike conduct and must be involved in leadership roles in the community are also requirements for consideration.
