The discovery of a stolen golf cart led Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies to the arrest of an adult and two juveniles believed to be responsible for the break-in and burglary of more than 20 campers parked at the Moors Campground last week.
Deputies arrested 18-year-old Trystan Cunningham, of Gilbertsville, along with two juveniles of Marshall County last Wednesday in connection to the break-ins that took place during a two-night period.
Cunningham and the juveniles were caught riding on a golf cart that had been reported stole. Cunningham was charged with 12 counts of second-degree burglary, one count of receiving stolen property and possession of burglary tools. Other charges are expected.
Cunningham also had a backpack containing pry bars in his possession at the time of the arrest.
Marshall County Sheriff Kevin Byars said the stolen items included two golf carts and cash.
Cunningham is lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond.
