Mr. James Bernard Toon, 87, of Fancy Farm died Tuesday, December 3 at his residence.

He was the son of Earnest B. Toon and Mary Ann Weitlauf Toon.

Mr. Toon was the owner of Toon’s Small Engines in Fancy Farm. He was a member of the St. Jerome Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus #1418, and was a World War II Air Corps Veteran.

He is survived by his wife- Emma Dolores Hobbs Toon of Fancy Farm; son, David (Dianne) Toon of Paducah; son, Gary (Kelly) Toon of Fancy Farm; daughter, Kay Norman of Benton; daughter, Denise (Denis) Wilson of Fancy Farm; daughter, June Toon of Paducah; daughter, Ellen (Rusty) Montgomery of Benton; sister, Ann Willett of Fancy Farm; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 5 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Jerome Catholic Church. Fr. Darrell Venters officiated. Burial followed the service on Thursday in the St. Jerome Cemetery in Fancy Farm, KY.
