Jesse Lee Thompson, 78, passed away Monday, October 28 at Mt. Carmel East Hosptial. He was born December 19, 1934.

He was a truck driver for Creasey Company and retired from Preston Trucking.

He was a member of Whitehall Moose Lodge #1245. He played bass guitar in the country band Trix.

He enjoyed gardening, bird watching, camping and traveling with his family.

He also loved western movies, especially John Wayne. He was also known for crafting hiking canes for all his family members.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years, Patricia Ann Thompson and a granddaughter, Mandy.

He is survived by daughters; Pam (Tim) Cline of Mashpee, Mass. and Sherry (Harry) Ammon of Columbus, Ohio; son, Adam (Dawn) Thompson, Pickerington, Ohio; grandchildren, Stephanie (Thadd) Kezar, Michael Cline, Nicholas Cline, Matthew (Angie) Ammon, Kellee Ammon, Tiffaney (Sean Raftery) Ammon, Brandon (Jenny) Thompson, Lyndsi (Will) Weaver, Miriah (Troy) Czinke, Zachary, Isaiah and Camron Thompson, great grandchildren; Kayla, Landen, Gabrial, Gavin and Hannah; grand dog, Annie; brother, Mason (Mary) Thompson, Hardin and many other loving family friends.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 16 at Evans Funeral Home.

Associate Minister Matt Archibald officiated. Interment followed at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
