Mrs. DeeEtta Turner, 90, of Benton passed away on Wednesday, October 16, at her home.

She was a charter member of Benton Church Of The Nazarene, where she served as Treasurer for many years. She was a former employee of Greenfield Brothers Tires and Shelton’s Grocery Store in Benton. She was born on March 29, 1923.

She is survived by her children, Ruth Greenfield and husband Carl Wayne of Benton, David Turner and wife Brenda of St. Peters, MO., Becky McKernan and husband John of Dushore, Pa.; six grandchildren and one step grandson, 19 great-grandchildren and six step great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leroy Cunningham and wife Mary of Mayfield and Doss Cunningham Jr. of Wingo and one sister, Jena Labine and husband Tom of Silver Springs, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, James Ray Turner, and one step granddaughter. Her parents were the late Doss and Mary (Weeks) Cunningham.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, Ocotober 20 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Mike Wilford officiated at the Chapel of the Collier Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mayfield Memory Gardens.

Arrangements were handled by Collier Funeral Home in Benton.
