The bride chose her sister, Mrs. Jill Downey Johnson of Lexington, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ms. Chloe Thompson, Ms. Paige Haskins, Ms. Olivia Brown, and Ms. Maddi Rohar. Allison Downey, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl.
The groom chose , Mr. Evan Bellan of Pittsburgh, Pa. as his best man. Groomsmen included Mr. Jon Leo, Mr. Tyler Meadows, Mr. Jake Boss and Mr. Chas Johnson. The groom’s twin brothers, Jake and Cody Lubic served as junior groomsmen. Owen Lubic, the groom’s brother served as ring bearer.
Music was provided by Cheryl Edwards, pianist, with Devyn Edwards and Lauren Edwards, vocals also Jocelyn Hyrb vocal accompanied by Jodi Hyrb.
The bride is the daughter of John and Sherry Downey of Benton. She is the granddaughter of Mr. L. Wayne Maddox and the late Glenda Maddox of Benton and Mr. James C. Downey and the late Barbara Downey.
The groom is the son of Timothy and Chris Rohar of McKeesport, Pa. and Bruce and Lori Lubic of Wexford, Pa. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Deurbrouck of Pittsburgh, Pa. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Rohar.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Marshall County High School and a 2013 graduate of the University of Kentucky where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics. The groom is a 2009 graduate of North Allegheny High School in Wexford, Pa. and a 2013 graduate of the University of Kentucky where he earned a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering . He is employed by Forge Group in Pittsburgh, Pa.
A reception followed at the Four Rivers Carson Center, catered by Laura Duff of the Pampered Palate.
After a honeymoon in Mexico, the couple reside in Bridgeville, Pa.
