Melba June Fooks, 93, of Paducah passed away Wednesday at 8:21 a.m. at the home of her daughter.

Mrs. Fooks was a native of Illinois, and was a retired cashier for Pay Less Drugs. She was a member of the Southland Baptist Temple and a former member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle where she attended for over 30 years.

She is survived by her two daughters, Pat Story of Gilbertsville and Harolyn Henson of Paducah, one son, Rev. ( Sonny) Edward Payne of Paducah, five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her three husbands, Charles Payne, Harold Davenport, and Willie Fooks, and her parents, Charles Calvin Fain and Iola Carroll Fain.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Keeling Family Funeral Home. Rev. Topper Council and Rev. Roger Whetstone officiated. Burial followed in the Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
