Mr. Charles David Borders, Sr.,70, of Grand Rivers, passed away Thursday, August 1 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn. Born Sunday, October 18, 1942 in Russellville, he was a retired Journeyman Electrician from IBEW local 816, Paducah. He was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church in Grand Rivers where he served as Trustee Chairman.

He is survived by his wife Andrea K. (Holmes) Borders of Grand Rivers, three daughters, Kimberly Borders of Apopka, Fla., Karen Sullivan of Stratham, N.H. and Sheri Kimball of Wilton, Conn., one son, Michael Winship of Lecanto, Fla., one brother, Russell Borders of Pinckney, Mich., one sister, Erdene Hughes of Auburn; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Borders, mother, Erline (Fitzhugh) Borders, one son, Charles David Borders, Jr., one brother, Shelby Borders.

Visitation and memorial services will be held at a later date.
