Kenlake State Resort Park

6 p.m.

All festivities will take place at the old beach area located at

466 Tennis Center Road in Aurora. Live music by the Tony Logue Band will begin at 6 p.m.

Followed by Fireworks at 9:00 p.m.  Concessions will be available. Fireworks are sponsored by Kenlake Marina and Aurora Area Merchants. For more information call 1-800-325-0143.

Thursday, July 4

Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park, Gilbertsville

7 p.m.

Join Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park on Independence Day for the All-American Family Buffet in Harbor Lights Restaurant from 11:30 a.m. - 9 p.m. The blues-rock band Cantageus will perform at the Old Beach Stage starting at 7 p.m. A variety of old-fashioned Independence Day family games are scheduled throughout the day. The day will end with the Independence Day Fireworks Display sponsored by the Kentucky Dam Marina. Call 1-800-325-0146. Firework display is visible by land and by boat.

Lake Barkley State Resort Park

Lake Barkley State Resort Park will host Fireworks at the Beach. The fireworks will begin at dusk at Lake Barkley State Resort Park’s public swimming beach. The fireworks are sponsored by the Friends of Lake Barkley SRP with generous support from the community. There will also be volleyball and outdoor games available throughout the day at the beach. Everyone is welcome, but please don’t bring glass, alcohol or personal fireworks. Call 1-800-325-1708.

Kuttawa Harbor, (Barkley Lake)

Hu-B’s will host their first July 4th bash full of family fun and fireworks. Boat rentals, fishing licenses and live bait are available. Transient docking welcomed. Free music by Ridin’ Shotgun from 6 - 9 p.m.

Calvert City Ameribration Celebration

The AmeriBration Parade will begin lining up Thursday at 6 p.m. and the parade will begin at 7 p.m. The Grand Marshall is Evelyn Harrington from the Calvert City Drive-in.  After the parade Free Watermelon will be served in Memorial Park. Fireworks show begins at full darkness which will be about 9 p.m. Other featured events include a beauty pageant, 100-mile bike race, and live entertainment,  Call 270.395.7130 for more details.

Eddy Creek Marina, Eddyville, (Lake Barkley)
