Lucas Elijah Brockwell would like to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of his mother, Nancy Elizabeth Foster Brockwell to Dr. William Scott Brown.

Beth Foster Brockwell is the daughter of Kenneth and Carol Foster of Murray. She is the great granddaughter of the late Nancy Scarbro of Central City, and the late Comer and Elizabeth Foster of Drakesboro.

Beth is a graduate of Calloway County High School and a graduate of Murray State University. She is the director of Tymeless Hearts in Murray.

Dr. Brown is the son of William T. and Tommye J. Brown of Lewisburg. He is the grandson of the late Scott and Ruby Brown of Lewisburg and the late William Smith and Doris Smith of Greenville.

Dr. Brown is a graduate of Logan County High School and a graduate of Western Kentucky University, where he received his Bachelor Degree. He graduated from the University of Alabama with his PhD. He is employed by Murray State University.

The wedding will be held at 3 p.m. on July 20, at the Murray Woman’s Club House on Vine Street in Murray.

All friends and family are invited to attend. Invitations will be mailed to out of town guests only.

After a honeymoon to Tokyo, the couple will reside in Murray.
