He was a member of Altona Baptist Church. He was a Dock Supervisor for UPS Freight.
He is survived by his wife, Becky Greer Thompson of Calvert City; two daughters, Heather Tucker of Lexington and Whitney Thompson of Calvert City; one brother, William Paul Thompson, and one sister, Barbara J. Thompson, both of Paducah.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Paul Thompson and Faye Pauline Beckman Thompson.
A funeral service was held Saturday, March 16, at Altona Baptist Church, with Bro. Roger Rice officiating. Burial followed in the Calvert City Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
