Fire broke out in the 5900 block of Wadesboro Road North at around 5:00 this morning.

Units from ENO, Harvey Brewers and the Benton Fire Department responded. According to Harvey - Brewers Fire Chief Brian Andrus, the first units on the scene reported smoke from all eaves of the home. He said flames were extinguished quickly and they were able to salvage the bedrooms and kitchen area of the home. However, smoke damage to the home's interior was extensive.

The homeowners made it out of the home safely. No word yet on the cause of the blaze.
