Sherry Anne Rendleman Ross, 66, Calvert City, died on Saturday, Feb. 16, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Born Saturday, Dec. 14, 1946, in Anna, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Edward Irl Rendleman and the late Jane (Kiest) Rendleman.
She was a 1967 graduate of the Baptist Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Memphis, Tenn. She was a registered nurse having retired as assistant director of maternal child services from Western Baptist Hospital after 39 years of service, a member and past president of the Jaycee-etts, a member of Calvert City United Methodist Church and a member of the United Methodist Women.
Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Fred Ross of Calvert City; two sons, Josh Ross and Justin Ross, wife Jennifer, all of Calvert City; one brother, Michael E. Rendleman, wife Dubravka, of Milford, Pa.; three grandchildren, Brady Ross, Kiersten Hayden and Tyler Ross, all of Calvert City.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Collier Funeral Home in Benton with the Rev. Dr. Eddie Bromley officiating. Interment will follow the service in Calvert City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Collier Funeral Home in Benton.
