The single-vehicle wreck closed both lanes of the road as rescues worked to free the driver and recover the vehicle. The SUV was traveling east on U.S. 348 when it overturned. Marshall County EMS used the Jaws of Life to free the woman in the SUV and were assisted by the Benton Fire Department.
The Benton Police Department is still investigating the wreck. The driver's name has not been released. She was the SUV's lone occupant.
