He was a supervisor for LWD.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Marie Steward Shrum; sons Travis Russell Shrum of Calvert City, Scott Shrum of Clarksville, Tenn., Bobby Shrum of Nashville, Tenn., and Eddie Shrum of Donelson, Tenn.; a daughter, Michelle Young of Hardin; a granddaughter, Jade “Jake” Young of Hardin; a brother, Earl Shrum of Paducah; and a sister, Mary Steele of Scottsville.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Leon Shrum. His parents were Louella and William Russell Shrum Sr.
There will be no visitation or funeral services. Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
