The shooting took place at Greer's home on Griggstown Road around 3:30 p.m. The Sheriff said the two men were arguing in the garage when Domingue's wife heard them, told her husband to stop fighting and to get in the pickup truck so they could go home. She then waited for husband in the truck. As Domingue headed toward the truck, Greer followed him and shot at him twice with a .12-guage shotgun. Domingue was hit once in the torso and upon arrival of the Sheriff's Department was transported to Marshall County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Greer is in custody, charged with murder. The Sheriff's Department said alcohol was involved. The investigation is ongoing and Greer could face further charges.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is currently working a homicide investigation in the 2300 block of Griggstown Rd. There is a suspect in custody. At this time few details are known and neither the victim’s name nor the suspect is being identified. Griggstown is currently closed at the intersection near Sawyer Creek and Norwell.
