An injury accident at the intersection of US Highway 68 and KY 782 has a a portion of 68 closed for approximately an hour, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. The accident occurred near Johnny's Barber Shop.

Initial reports are that two vehicles hit head-on at the site. The accident happened at around 12:15 this afternoon.

There is no word yet on the extent of injuries to the driver of either car.
