She was formerly a resident of the Fairdealing community in Marshall County.
A member of the Second Baptist Church in Richmond, Va., she was ordained as one of its first women deacons.
She is survived by her four children: Dr. Norma Price of Tucson, Ariz., Elizabeth Price Turner of Culver City, Calif., Dr. Joseph Price of Whittier, Calif., and Virginia Fan Price Hamrick of Bloomington, Ind.; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Virginia Quarles.
A private graveside family service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home.
