Dwain Tubbs, 44, of Dexter died at 2:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.

He was a deputy jailer for Calloway County.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel Ann Garland Tubbs; daughter Hannah Tubbs ; son Dakota Holland, stationed at a Naval base in Japan; mother and stepfather Margaret Lovett Thorn and Bobby Thorn of Benton; sisters Melissa Parchman of Mayfield and Donna Perez of Murray; and brothers Daryl Tubbs of Benton and Scott Tubbs of Hardin.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry D. Tubbs Sr.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home and Crematory. Bro. Elijah Balentine will officiate. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home and Crematory.
