W.T. “Dub” Brindley, 79, of Calvert City died at 1:25 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at his home after a short illness.

He was born in Possum Trot to Lilbern Brindley and Nina Ward Brindley who both preceded him in death.

He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. He was a retired member from Pipefitters Local 184 and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Dolores English Brindley of Calvert City,; his daughter, Kathy Hodges of Benton; three sons, Ronald Brindley and Richard Brindley of Benton and Randy Brindley of Blanchard , Okla.; sister Betty Walker of Calvert City; brother Charles Brindley of Paducah; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 10, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home and Crematory. Bro. Brad White officiated. Burial with military rites followed in the Fooks Cemetery.
