A worker at the clerk's office said the outage began Friday morning. The office is unable to file car license tags, perform voter registration or register deeds for property transfers. The last day of the month is typically a busy day in the office for people who waited until the last of the month to go to the courthouse with their business.
The clerk's office said it could be Monday before service is restored.
