Mr. Hays was employed as a chemical operator at Ashland Specialty Products and a member of the Internation Association of Machinests and Aerospace Workers, local 1720.
Mr. Hays is survived by his wife Linda; daughters Hilary Nichole Hays of Los Angeles and Anna Lee Hays of Paducah; father Edward Stan Hays and sister Kathy Hays both of Paducah.
He was preceded in death by his mother Jean Morehouse Hays.
A celebration of Mr. Hays’ life will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Millner and Orr. A memorial service will be Wednesday, Nov. 14 at the funeral home.Bro. Kenny Locke, pastor of the Trinity United Methodist Church will officiate.
The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to the American Liver Foundation.
