She was the former owner and operator of Ellenberger Resort. Mrs. Ellenberger was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.
She was the daughter of the late John Hougelman and the late Sarah (Fulford) Hougelman.
She is survived by: three sons, Gary Ellenberger, Michael J. Ellenberger, both of Benton, and Brian E. Ellenberger, Mayfield, six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband: George K. Ellenberger.
A funeral service was held at Collier Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 1 p.m., Rev. Bill Lawson officiated.
Interment followed at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Benton.
