He was retired as president of Kroot Corp., a recycling plant in Columbus, Ind. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Sanders, of Benton; daughters Patricia A. King and Connie Jett, both of Paducah; sons Dennis Sanders and David Sanders, both of Paducah; a sister, Ann Barnett, and brother, Darrell Sanders, both of Karnak, Ill.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Winifred Edith McKenzie Sanders; brothers James, Jack and Bill Sanders; and sisters Virginia “Jenny” Snell and Betty Lee Little.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home of Benton. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
