Evelyn Dell Smith, 75 , of Calvert City, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, at her home.
She was the daughter of Eunice Virgil Darnell and Otha Mae Gore Darnell.
She is survived by a daughter, Shawna Carol Smith oif Calvert City; sons Shane Smith of Almo and Steven Smith of Calvert City; a sister, Hilda Mae Mustion of Murray; brothers Richard Darnell of Calvert City and Eddy Wayne Darnell, Brooks Darnell, Gene Darnell and Ted Darnell, all of Murray; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Powell Smith, daughter Sheena Renee Smith, brother Danny Lynn Darnell, and sister Mary Ruth Taylor.
A graveside service was held at Dees Cemetery in Calvert City Friday, Oct. 19, Rev. Dusty Darnell officiated.
