Susie is the daughter of the late Murray and Susie M. williams. She is a retired nursing instructor from the Health Occupations School in Madisonville.
Thomas is the son of the late Roy and Lexie Vasseur. He is retired from the Army and a partnership insurance agency in Evansville, Ind.
The couple has one daughter, Melanie L. Weatherford of Atlanta, Ga., and three granddaughters.
They recently celebrated their anniversary on an Alaskan cruise.
