Mr. Johnson and the former Betty Rose Wicker, were married on October 6, 1962 at the Reidland United Methodist Church, with Rev. John Stavely officiating. Their witnesses were Sue Darnell, of Murray and Kenneth Johnson, of St. Peters, Mo.
Mrs. Johnson is the daughter of Catherine (Morris) Wisker and the late J.P. (Jack) Wicker.
Mr. Johnson is the son of the late Homer and Mabel (Frizzell) Johnson. He is retired after 22 years in the U.S. Air Force
They have three children, Dianna Wilson of Aurora, Neil Johnson of Jacksonville, Fla. and Jay Johnson of O’Fallon, Mo. They have six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
