She was a homemaker, member of Trace Creek Baptist Church and volunteer for the Pink Ladies Auxiliary at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.
Mrs. Reed is survived by her husband, Billy D. Reed; son Greg Reed of Benton; daughter Rhonda Wade of Mayfield; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Leona “Pokie” Johnson Gough; son Robert David Reed; and sister Katherine Ivey.
A graveside service will be held at Highland Park Cemetery on Saturday, Oct. 6, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Pete Carlisle officiating.
Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 5, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield.
