James Aubrey Wyatt, 86, of Mayfield died Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Southgate Nursing Home in Metropolis, Ill.

He was a member and deacon of Sharon Baptist Church in Mayfield; a retired bus driver for Mayfield Independent School District; retired owner-operator of Sellars & Wyatt TV; and an Army veteran of World War II.

Mr. Wyatt is survived by a daughter, Debbie Bushart of Benton; a son, Glenn Wyatt of Mayfield; sisters Suzie Sellars and Louise Clark, both of Mayfield; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Wyatt; parents, Aub and Mary Martain Wyatt; and sister, Katie Calhoun.

The service will be held at Sharon Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, with Rev. Kenneth Newsome and Rev. Tony Adams officiating. Interment will follow in the Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery.
