A native of Grand Rapids, Mich., Mr. Estes was an accountant for Williams, Williams & Lentzin Paducah for 30 years and worked from his home office from 1994 through 2010.
He was a member of Calvert City Church of Christ and was a graduate of Murray State University.
He is survived by his wife, Genevieve Moyers Estes of Paducah; daughters Melody Ann Qualls of Paducah and Melissa Renee McManus of Paducah; sister Doris Downs of Cookeville, Tenn.; brother Arthur Estes Jr. of New Bern, N.C.; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
His parents were Arthur Estes Sr. and Euple Thweatt Estes Shelby.
The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Lance Cordle officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at the funeral home.
