On Tuesday, Deputy Steven Oakley was dispatched to the American Legion Post 236. He saw that the office appeared to be burglarized. Inside, he found the safe to be standing open with locks cut.
Missing were six M1 Garand rifles with white shoulder straps. Also gone from the office was a yellow extension cord.
