Mr. Grimes and the former Wanda McDaniel were married on Sept. 10, 1962 by Rev. J.W. Hanson in Salem. Their attendants were Linda Vaugh Munson and Shelby Roe Vaugh.
Mrs. Grimes is a retired teacher and Mr. Grimes retired from the Kentucky Department of Transportation.
They have two children, David Grimes and Cami Williams, both of Calvert City. They have four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
