Miss Nelson graduated from Livingston County High School in 2008 and will complete her associate in Fine Art from the Paducah School of Art this coming May. She is employed at Hobby Lobby in Paducah. Miss Nelson is the granddaughter of Brooksie Nelson formerly of Gilbertsville and currently of Mitchell, Ill. and late John Nelson. Clarissa is also the granddaughter of the late Clarissa Nelson of Canada and the late Marie Garibot.
Mr. Brian Hopkins is the son of Darrell and Wilma Hopkins of Calvert City. He graduated from Marshall County High School in 2004 and from West Kentucky Community and Technical College in 2009 with an Associate in Science. He is employed by James Marine. Brian is the grandson of the late Freddie and Lula Bundren of Paducah and the late Hersie and Novena Hopkins of Kirskey.
The wedding will be held at Zion’s Cause Baptist Church, on Sept 1st, at 4.00 p.m. The couple plans to reside in Paducah.
